To give you more insights about our collaboration with Out2bound, Teofil Shikov, CEO and co-founder of Out2Bound, kindly answered our questions. He tells us more about his company, the collaboration with his advisors as well as his experience with Board Owl.
Tell us a little about the story behind Out2bound
“Out2Bound came into existence when in late 2015 I identified a market niche for professional and highly skilled sales representatives in the local tech industry. Therefore, together with my co-founders (Boris Georgiev, Dimitar Mitkov & Zdravko Zdravkov), we started Out2Bound – sales development agency, which helps IT companies find new clients all over the world.”
How was your experience with Board Owl?
“I love the platform, the user experience it provides and most of all, the human touch when communicating with the BoardOwl team. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to our Swiss mentors (Katharina and Salome) who are great professionals from whom I’m learning so much with each and every interaction. Board Owl facilitated my initial experience with both of them, for which I’m very grateful!”
What was the reason behind your decision to create an advisory board?
“Being part of Endeavor’s local accelerator program (called Dare2Scale) we were introduced and got the chance to learn from the most prominent local tech entrepreneurs. This leads us to the conclusion that being surrounded with people who are much smarter than we are is helping us a ton! Therefore the decision to create a board and surround ourselves with people who are supportive and believe in our mission came to life.”
How are you working with your new board?
“We are doing monthly one-on-one meetings combined with quarterly recaps.”
