We are very excited to announce our new partnership with the Boardroom.
The Boardroom is a private professional network built around the mission to create and cultivate an active pipeline of qualified female leaders to fill corporate board positions. Indeed, while women in Switzerland make up more than 50% of the population, only 16% of board members at the 100 largest Swiss companies are currently women – and this needs to change.
Once again, Board Owl is driving initiatives to increase diversity in the boardroom. Substantial research has shown that diversity in boards brings many advantages to an organization (such as more effective risk management, better alignment with key stakeholders and increased innovation) effectively leading to better performance.
As part of our collaboration, Board Owl will contribute to the Boardroom’s executive education program, by providing their members insights on how to succeed in the first interview for a board seat, and which questions to have answered before accepting such a position.
