Board Owl recently facilitated the appointment of several new advisory board members for InnoSource, a company which provides tailor made advisory services to corporates, startups, and venture capitalists.
Adina Krausz, CEO of InnoSource, joined our platform from two different angles: as a company with available advisory board seats and as an individual, ready to add value on companies’ boards. She accepted to tell us more about her story as well as her experience with Board Owl.
Adina, tell us more about yourself and how you started InnoSource?
“(Hi, thank you very much for this opportunity.)
InnoSource by Toledo Capital AG connects successful startups with corporates to accelerate Innovation and Change. Inspired by the incredible ideas of the entrepreneurs in my extensive network within the ecosystem of the Israeli Venture Capital Industry, I founded InnoSource as an independent division of the Swiss Multi Family Office Toledo Capital AG in Zurich. My career path led through several financial hubs from Munich to Tel Aviv via New York before settling down in Zurich at the beginning of 2008. InnoSource came to life and continues to grow with the help of a young and very dynamic team.”
You recently formed an Advisory Board with the appointment of several members from Board Owl. What was the driving force behind your decision to start building an advisory board?
“We believe that having an experienced and professional board of advisors gives us a valuable addition and creates new opportunities. The fact that our board members have diverse backgrounds helps us to keep up with trends in different industries. In the short time that they have been part of our company, they have already provided us with valuable inputs on our vision and strategy.”
What are your objectives/ how do you hope they will influence the course of your business?
“We, at InnoSource, will benefit greatly from the experience and the deep knowledge of different fields that our board members bring to the table. Our team of young professionals will be able to learn from the very best that the business world has to offer. The board members themselves will also benefit greatly from collaborating with us. They will gain new insights into an exciting industry while working alongside a promising company that aims to be a bridge between the highly innovative country of Switzerland and Israel, the innovation capital of the world. Our network at Toledo and InnoSource is second to none, but put the pairing with the experience of the advisors, as well as their very own networks, will open us many doors to exciting new opportunities.”
How was your experience with Board Owl?
“The experience with Board Owl has been nothing short of fantastic. I never expected this to work as flawlessly as it did, and in such a short time! We are very thankful of the amazing work Board Owl has done to pair us with such great and diverse board members. They bonded with our team immediately and we can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for us.”
You are also interested to join boards, being yourself an individual member of Board Owl. Why is this of interest for you and what would you like to achieve?
“Right now my main focus lies with InnoSource, but I will always be open to becoming a board member in another company, should the right opportunity arise. Indeed, I would love to sooner or later be on different boards and put my 20 years of uninterrupted working experience and strong network to good use for other companies, just like our board members are doing right now for us. I believe in giving back, and Board Owl enables people to do just that.
